When Dean started his firm he had a unique idea - offer a part-time CFO/controller service where clients could have a skilled controller without the cost or obligation to hire a full time employee. This service was successful and to this day he still services a few larger clients that have this need.
Most clients today consist of a diverse group of small businesses and individuals. Dean has worked extensively with businesses in the automotive industry, including car dealerships and repair facilities.
He has also worked with non-profits specializing in organizing accounting systems to be in compliance for their CPA auditing firm
Dean Anatra, CPA Owner
Dean started the CPA firm in 1996. With 24 years' diverse accounting experience, he is able to offer "best in class" service to his clients. Dean got his start working in accounting with a local Connecticut CPA firm in 1986 while in college, working and paying his own way through school. He stayed with that firm for a few years after becoming a CPA, then worked as a controller for a manufacturing company from 1992-1996.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac College (now university) in 1988 Graduated with distinction of Magna Cum Laude and passed CPA test on the 1st attempt.
Dean is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Anthony Ferrucci - Staff accountant
Anthony joined the firm in 2008. His work experience includes being an Associate Auditor with
PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hartford, CT. While there he worked on audits of 11 companies, 4
not-for-profit organizations, and 2 law firms. Anthony also ran a local H&R Block office for a
tax season before joining the firm.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac University in 2006. Anthony graduated with
distinction of Summa Cum Laude.
Joanna D'Eugenio - Accounting Para-Professional
Joanna joined the firm in 2002, bringing with her over 25 years' experience in the accounting
environment. Joanna is a skilled bookkeeper specializing in offering onsite service to clients.
She is experienced in preparing and filing all aspects of sales, payroll and related tax returns
including multi-state returns. She offers QuickBooks training at client offices as well.
